Sweet Mix
Red, orange and brown sweet peppers, many adapted for cool climates, and for limited irrigation. Most of these seeds were grown from last year's mix, with some new varietals and landraces mixed in.
Hot Mix
Peppers range from mild to super spicy. Includes jalapeno, cayenne, tabasco, poblano, and new mexico types, among others. Mostly capsicum annum with some Capsicum frutescens and Capsicum baccatum.
Shishito-ish Frying Mix
A mash-up of primarily shishito and padron, with some stray pollen from other types sprinkled in. When green, these mildly spicy peppers can be stir-fried and eaten whole. When mature and red, use them as you would jalapenos or other spicy peppers.
Packets contain approximately 20 seeds.

Our mission is to make diverse seeds available to everyone. Although the seeds are free, you will need to pay for shipping. In addition, we ask you to consider making a donation to cover program costs. This allows us to make seed free for those who need it.

Seeds will ship within a week of ordering. This program is run by dedicated and hardworking volunteers. Going to Seed is not a seed company. You may receive packages that have less than the stated number of seeds, germination rates may not meet the federal standards, shipping may be slower than you prefer, or there may be any other number of unanticipated glitches. Please be patient with us as we improve the standards over time.
