Melon Seed Increase
Going to Seed received seeds from GRIN of seven melon landraces and one named cultivar. They were selected for earliness (under 70 days to maturity) and trace their origins to India, Turkey, China, Japan, Cuba and Canada. These seeds are being grown out by volunteers for evaluation and seed increase. We intend to include these in the 2025 muskmelon mix.
Project participants: to get started, you first need to Record your planting. Once you've done this, you can add an observation, and select your name from the list of growers.
