Cucumber seeds were contributed by gardeners from varied climates, grown without coddling, and encouraged to promiscuously pollinate. They include genetics from hundreds of varieties. If you've struggled from powdery mildew and other stresses in the past, try these!
We also have a very limited supply of Armenian type 'cucumbers' from Kim in Arizona. Botanically speaking, these are actually unripe melons which taste much like cucumbers. This mix of round and long types are all non-bitter.

Seeds will ship within a week of ordering. This program is run by dedicated and hardworking volunteers. Going to Seed is not a seed company. You may receive packages that have less than the stated number of seeds, germination rates may not meet the federal standards, shipping may be slower than you prefer, or there may be any other number of unanticipated glitches. Please be patient with us as we improve the standards over time.

I'm Kim. I love growing anything that gives us delicious fresh foods. Melons are also nearly impossible to grow in upstate NY where I'm from. Love to grow tasty melons here in Arizona where I now live. Trying to grow them year round as most are grown over the hot summer months. Also learning storage techniques from indigenous practice and new recipes.
