Description
We’re excited to share this carrot seed mix! It includes seed from an Alberta contributor who grew 10+ varieties and let them cross if they overwintered, a cross of 7 varieties from Le Jardin des Vie-la-Joie in Québec, seed from a multiyear Québec project (2018–2022), and a Going to Seed grow-out in the USA. We have 50 packets and hope 50 growers will grab one, have fun, and learn how to save carrot seeds for 2028.
Packets contain hundreds of seeds. Limit one per customer.

Nous sommes ravis de partager ce mélange de semences de carottes ! Il comprend : des semences d’un contributeur de l’Alberta qui a cultivé plus de 10 variétés et les a laissées se croiser si elles ont hiverné, un croisement de 7 variétés du Jardin des Vie-la-Joie au Québec, des semences issues d’un projet québécois sur plusieurs années (2018–2022), ainsi qu’un essai de Going to Seed aux États-Unis. Nous avons 50 sachets et espérons que 50 producteurs en prendront un, s’amuseront et apprendront à conserver des semences de carottes pour 2028.

Our mission is to make diverse seeds available to everyone. Although the seeds are free, you will need to pay for shipping. In addition, we ask you to consider making a donation to cover program costs. This allows us to make seed free for those who need it.
When will I get my seeds?

Seeds will ship within a week of ordering. This program is run by dedicated and hardworking volunteers. Going to Seed is not a seed company. You may receive packages that have less than the stated number of seeds, germination rates may not meet the federal standards, shipping may be slower than you prefer, or there may be any other number of unanticipated glitches. Please be patient with us as we improve the standards over time.

Seeds are packed in moisture proof, 100% compostable materials. We recommend saving this packet to fill and send back to the program.
