The Seed Share is Accepting Contributions – Donate Now Until Nov. 22nd for Early Access!
Contributions from people like you keep the Seed Share program going and growing. We are now accepting seeds year-round – and when you contribute seeds, you earn a spot on our early access list. Check out the guidelines and information on this page to send in your seeds.
We are now able to accept seeds from outside the US! Canada now has its own seed share, and Canadians will be directed to send seeds to a hub within their country. For other countries, select your country on the form, and we'll follow up with instructions for complying with our small lots import permit.
Packages postmarked by November 22nd will be incorporated into the 2025 mixes, and contributors will be eligible for early access.
Updates on the Local Seeds Coalition
With the help of volunteers, over 85 interviews with growers, non-profits, seed libraries, and seed advocates have been conducted and transcribed. In the next phase, volunteers will help find patterns and opportunities, locate where the biggest needs are to increase seed awareness, support more funding for seed-based projects, and grow the regional seed movement.
This fall, the Local Seeds Coalition will release an exploratory report that captures key learnings from interviews and outlines regional gaps. To receive further updates on this project, you can fill out the form at the bottom of the main page at localseeds.org.
